Tu B'Av was a joyous holiday in the days of the Temple in Jerusalem. The Talmud tells us that the unmarried “daughters of Jerusalem would go dance in the vineyards, dressed in white garments” on the 15th of Av, as an inspiration and hope of finding worthy husband.

Oil painted on canvas – Shoshana conveys the inspiration and hope of this Holiday with vibrant colors and movement.

Tu B'Av also marks the beginning of the grape harvest.
