LA'ZMAN HAZE
Having been brought up with a profound love for my Jewish heritage and an acute appreciation for Judaica art, it was hardly surprising that I chose to develop this into a career. For nearly 30 years I have been fortunate to be in close enough proximity to Jewish Art in Jerusalem: to gain knowledge, develop connections, represent skilled artists and gather a vast and varied collection of Judaica objects – ancient, antique and current.
LA'ZMAN HAZE was developed as a continuation of our past work with talented Haredi Artists – artists whose expression is on canvas; carved out of wood; sculpted in metal, ceramic or glass and Artistic Scribes (Sofer Stam) whose artworks are done in the ancient manner – written and drawn with a feather on klaf (animal skin) as well as Safed-trained hand-woven tallit and tsitsit weavers.
Our artists draw inspiration from their belief in G-d and their love of the Torah and the Land.
Our mission at LA'ZMAN HAZE is to concentrate on quality rather than quantity. We exhibit and sell art from a limited collection of talented and dedicated artists, several of whom also offer the possibility of ordering special bespoke prints of their works on canvas or klaf in different sizes suitable for any wallspace and budget.
